Automotive Parts Interpreter

Our client is regarded as an employer of choice in Mount Isa and the western corridor of North Qld. This multi award-winning Dealership is experiencing solid growth, providing exceptional products and service to their many loyal customers.

Our client is now needing to add a Parts Interpreter to their great parts team.

While not essential, (as full training is provided) if you have had at least 6 months experience in parts interpreting either in a dealership environment or in an independent parts outlet this would be highly regarded.

This role would suit someone with extensive automotive knowledge. With excellent phone manner and great computer skills.

About the role.

As a Parts Interpreter you are a key member of the parts team, your role is to assist retail, trade, and internal customers with their parts requirements. Interpreting parts, processing customer orders, and be confident in your ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day functions involved in the warehousing, storage, sales, and interpretation of parts and accessories.

Your primary role serves as the contact between the parts department and retail, trade and internal customers, ensuring the timely identification, supply, and management of parts while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• Computer literacy for invoicing and inventory management.
• Strong written, verbal, and organisational skills.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• Drivers and Forklift license.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Having great parts interpretation skills, exceptional customer service skills to communicate clearly with a great phone manner.

To excel in this role, you need a combination of good administrative skills, diligence, along with great time management skills and the confidence to communicate with a wide range of people.

Hours of work – 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. (38 hr working week)
