Accounts Payable & Compliance Officer

• 7-8 month initial contract
• Immediate start available
• $35-37 per hour + super (casual contract)
• Eastern suburbs of Melbourne | Hybrid working

Join a supportive and collaborative team in a well-regarded organisation, contributing to the smooth operation of Accounts Payable and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and collect data for accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Ensure full compliance with deeds, contracts, and purchase orders
• Oversee the invoice approval process and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Respond to all queries promptly and professionally
• Batch-upload expenses for claim backs and resolve any internal discrepancies
• Enter and process various types of accounts and data to ensure payments meet compliance and contractual timelines
• Manage supplier invoices in spreadsheets, including data manipulation and reconciliation
• Engage with suppliers to manage disputes and maintain positive working relationships

Key Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Proven stakeholder and supplier management experience
• TechOne system experience highly regarded
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formula development
