The client:

Global, Top Teir Engineering firm specialising in Mining Resources sector.

We, Sure People Solutions have an exciting opportunity for Trade Assistants for one of our clients in Jandakot. Our Client offers a constantly evolving range of equipment, tools, services, and technical solutions for rock processing, covering crushing, screening, breaking, and demolition.

About You

• Ability to adhere to safe work practices, policies and procedures
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be eligible to work in Australia
• Demonstrate a professional company & customer-focused attitude
• Attention to detail skills, with initiative!
• Eager to learn and get the job done
• Excellent organizational skills

The Role

• Assist in the movement, loading, and unloading of materials via forklift
• Assisting the qualified Trade personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
• Operating various hand tools and workshop equipment
• Attending workshop meetings and reporting to the supervisor.
• Carry out general labour duties

Requirements

• Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
• Mechanical experience
• Forklift License
• Construction Induction Card (White or Blue)
• Current Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
• Australian Driver's License
• Experience with Hand tools and welders
• 2x Reference Checks
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Dogman Ticket (preferred)
