They are now seeking an enthusiastic Junior Accountant looking for a career-launching role in a firm that will support, value, and prioritise your professional growth. In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for entities such as individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, sole traders, and SMSFs

Maintain client files in MYOB, including asset registers, adjusting journals, and reconciliations

Gain exposure to outsourced CFO and advisory work, including management accounting, board reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and succession planning

Assist with BAS, IAS, GST, CGT, FBT, and Div 7A matters

Liaise with key stakeholders, including the ATO, ASIC, and clients

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will:

Have a minimum of 6 months – 18 months experience in a reputable accounting firm

Hold a relevant degree or be working towards completion

Be currently studying towards your CA / CPA (or willing to commence)

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

Be eager to learn, grow and progress your career
