Clinical Lead – Psychology Practice (Full-Time)

Location: Strathpine, QLD

Salary: $140,000 + Superannuation (negotiable, commensurate with experience)

We're a warm, established private practice in Strathpine where therapy dogs are part of everyday life, helping clients feel calm, safe, and supported. Our team of dedicated psychologists and three admin staff deliver evidence-based, client-centred care — and we're proud of our outstanding reputation across the community.

We're now seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Lead to guide our clinicians, nurture professional growth, and help shape the next chapter of our practice.

What you'll do

Lead and support a team of skilled psychologists through clinical supervision, mentoring, and reflective practice.

Maintain a reduced caseload while championing clinical excellence and ethical, evidence-based care.

Work closely with our Practice Manager to ensure seamless service delivery.

Provide regular individual and/or group supervision to psychologists, including early-career practitioners.

Provide guidance on complex cases, triage, and risk management.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and growth-focused team culture.

Help develop new clinical programs and contribute to quality-improvement initiatives.

Uphold compliance with AHPRA, APS, and Queensland legislative requirements.

About you

Fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA.

Endorsement (or eligibility) in Clinical Psychology highly regarded.

Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience, ideally in private practice.

Demonstrated experience providing supervision, mentoring, or team leadership.

Warm, ethical, and client-centred — you lead with empathy and integrity.

AHPRA-approved Supervisor (or willingness to quickly obtain with our help).

Comfortable with technology and client-management software (e.g., Zanda or Splose).
