Join our respected company with several workshops’ locations in eastern suburbs of Sydney - Scientific Broadway, Scientific Matraville& Scientific Rose Bay. We are looking for licensed experienced AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC to join our dynamic & rewarding workshop. Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive body repair techniques, including:

Accurately assessing the extent of vehicle damage both visible and hidden that is bodywork, chassis, and mechanical components.

Repairing or replacing damaged suspension components

Addressing issues with steering systems

Fixing damage to other mechanical system affected by the impact

Identifying and sourcing replacement parts, which may include OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or aftermarket parts.

Understanding how cars work, how they are built and their different components

Using your expertise in fault finding and diagnosis in mechanical, electrical & air conditioning

Analysing vehicle performance & customer complaints to pinpoint issues

Repairing or replacing damaged parts, perform routine maintenance service and reassembling vehicles components after repairs.

Testing repaired vehicle to ensure proper functionality & safety

Conducting thorough vehicle inspections to assess roadworthiness

Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all work and job cards

Ensuring safe and organized working environment

Qualifications:

Must be highly motivated and has good communication skills

Excellent customer service

Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexible working hours and ability to work in a given timeline
