About the role

Grid X Energy Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Underground Electrician's + UG Drill Service Electricians to join our team in the Goldfields region of WA.

As an Underground Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems within our underground mining operations. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career progression and development.

What you'll be doing

Installing, maintaining, and repairing 415V + 1000V electrical equipment and systems, including UG starters, MCC's, motors, Drills , and communication systems

Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, and implementing appropriate solutions

Interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and specifications to carry out work safely and efficiently

Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and company policies

Collaborating with other team members to coordinate work activities and share knowledge

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our electrical systems

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualification as an Electrician

Extensive experience as an Underground Electrician (minimum 12 months)

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and installation techniques

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Willingness to work in a challenging underground mining environment
