Chubb Bunbury is seeking an experienced Electrician to provide product support project based supervision and technical services within the Fire industry in the South West region. The Fire Systems Business maintains a firm commitment to the quality objectives for the company and promotes business through exceptional customer service and relationships. As a Fire Alarm Electrician/ leading hand, you will be required to install, service, maintain and install fire detection and gaseous systems within the South West area for numerous clients in both the commercial and industrial sectors.

We are looking for someone who is committed to customer service, teamwork and adapting to the role quickly – potentially working in a new industry. Full training will be provided but you may come from a similar background or have trade experience that would complement this role, but your attitude will play a large part in your application and your success.

Professional Experience:

Up to date product and industry knowledge and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information.

A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to fixed systems fire protection equipment and gaseous fire equipment.

Current Driver License

Professional Competencies:

A fully competent Technician with the following qualifications would be preferable but training can be provided

Electrical License

ACMA Cabling Registration

FPA Extinguishing Agent Handling License

Possessing a sound technical knowledge of AS1670, AS4214 and AS1851.Computer Skills

Fire Detection System Programming Skills.

System Commissioning Capabilities.

Leading hand experience

Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of fire protection Legislation & codes.

Understanding of EH&S requirements.
