Our company is growing and we are dedicated to providing the highest possible customer service and a value for money shopping experience so we are currently seeking an experienced Retail Supervisor (Level 4) with a customer focus to join our friendly team in our Morayfield store.

About The Role

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising the shop floor team members, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction, adherence to merchandising standards, policy and procedural compliance and team member engagement and productivity, on weekends and/or public holidays or in the absence of the Store Managers.

The Retail Supervisor is required to manage the daily tasks that are required on the shop. This includes register operation and product merchandising, whilst supporting our team members in everyday activities.

Skills & Experience Required:

Must have at least 2 years proven supervisory experience in a fast paced retail setting (Grocery experience would be highly regarded)

Must have experience using a POS system

Must be physically able to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting up to 20kg.

Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to work efficiently and within timelines

Strong commitment and passion for delivering exceptional customer service

Ability to maintain a calm demeanour when communicating, and working, with customers and other staff

Acts in a professional manner, using appropriate interpersonal skills to support & contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide day to day leadership, support and supervision of rostered team on the shop floor

Support the training of the team in customer service, product knowledge and operational responsibilities

Opening and closing store during shift

Balance and count registers at the close of business

Processing of refunds and change orders

Complete price changes in Idealpos as required

Enter Stock into the Idealpos system, as required

Operation of the POS system

Maintain, security procedures and cash handling procedures

Customer service and assistance

Maintain orderly appearance of register area.

Greeting, acknowledging and actively engaging every customer

Merchandise and aid in the maintenance of floor stock levels
