Currently we have a (8-Month Contract) Contract Managerrole available.

You’ll join a high-performing team of six managing complex network technology portfolios and work closely with colleagues responsible for different areas of the business. The role offers the chance to apply your commercial acumen and technical insight in a dynamic telecommunications environment undergoing significant change.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle including variations, extensions, and new scopes of work.
• Support supplier transitions and novations following divestments or structural changes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive best practice contract management and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
• Provide clear, constructive challenge to business decisions and ensure commercial outcomes are optimised.
• Maintain accurate contract records and support reporting through tools such as Ariba, Oracle, and Excel.

About You:

You bring a strong technical or commercial background and proven experience managing contracts in telecommunications, network technology, or a related industry such as utilities or IT infrastructure.

You’ll also demonstrate:

• Experience working with major network suppliers such as Nokia, Ericsson, or Cisco.
• Sound understanding of commercial frameworks, risk management, and supplier performance.
• A curious, collaborative mindset with the confidence to engage and challenge constructively.
• The ability to work independently, prioritising effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Ariba, Oracle, and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
• Backgrounds such as ex-lawyers, ex-Telstra professionals, or those from supplier organisations are highly regarded.
