Cossington Ward is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established nursing team.
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
· Provide evidenced based nursing care
· Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
· Ensure patient and staff safety
· Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care
· Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Essential Criteria:
· Current Registration with AHPRA
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Works well independently and within a team

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and ACTNMA/ANMF- ACT Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement 2022, a salary ranging from $40.9783 - $55.3719 per hour.

Located in Garran ACT, National Capital Private Hospital is co-located with Canberra Hospital and is dedicated to providing high quality healthcare to the people of the Greater Southern Region.
Our hospital provides a range of acute and medical healthcare services including orthopaedics, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, urology and geriatric medicine.
National Capital Private Hospital recently completed a major expansion and development plan that delivered three additional state-of-the-art operating theatres, including a hybrid theatre for complex cardiac, vascular and neurosurgery; an eight-bed intensive care unit; and a 14-bed coronary care unit. In addition, 10 medical consulting suites have been built including a private suite for radiology and a range of acute care services.
In addition to the development a refurbishment is also planned to our existing 88 room facility that will increase our capacity to 130 patient-beds.
Our team of highly skilled staff will work with you to provide everything you need during your stay and after your discharge, from choice of doctors and treatment to working with your family and support groups to develop an effective care pathway to recovery.
