iSupportChef is looking for passionate, highly skilled Casual In-Home Chefs to provide personalised meal preparation for our wonderful NDIS and Aged Care clients across Brisbane. This is an extremely rewarding role where you get to use your culinary skills to directly improve a person's life, nutrition, and independence.

Your Day-to-Day Role:

Travel to clients' homes across your nominated area of Brisbane and Ipswich.

Collaborate with clients to plan weekly and monthly menus based on their budget, dietary requirements, and personal tastes.

Perform grocery shopping for ingredients.

Prepare and batch-cook nutritious, high-quality, and appealing meals in the client's home, ensuring strict food safety and hygiene standards are followed.

Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment.

Complete basic documentation related to support provided (training supplied).

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification/experience.

Experience: Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role. Experience with specialised dietary requirements (e.g., texture-modified, diabetic, low-salt) is highly regarded.

Minimum Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional chef or cook experience.

Mandatory Checks: Must possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a current National Police Check.

Licence & Vehicle: A current, valid Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable, insured vehicle is essential for travel between clients.

Soft Skills: A genuine, empathetic, and patient nature. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Work Rights: Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
