The Opportunity

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a motivated Lawyer to join our Dispute Resolution team. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of high-quality litigation work, including complex disputes across commercial, civil, and regulatory areas. You will work closely with team’s principal and other experienced lawyers within the team, benefiting from a strong emphasis on mentorship and hands-on involvement in all stages of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting in the preparation and management of litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence.

- Conducting legal research, analysing evidence, and preparing advice for clients.

- Attending court hearings, mediations, and client meetings alongside senior team members.

- Collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve optimal results.

- Contributing to the firm's knowledge-sharing initiatives and professional development activities.

Depending on your experience, there may be an option for the role to be based in Geelong or Ballarat.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with 0-3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE). Prior experience in litigation or dispute resolution is advantageous but not essential - we prioritise candidates with a strong commitment to excellence and a willingness to learn.
