We are now seeking an experienced ICT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting our growing operations.
About the Role
The ICT Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting EVENTLIGHTING’s IT infrastructure and digital platforms, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of systems used across our sales, logistics, and technical departments.
This position will suit someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and contributing to the digital growth of a fast-paced, technology-driven business.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain company networks, servers, and cloud infrastructure to ensure stable and secure system performance.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and POS systems across sales, warehouse, and logistics teams.
Implement cybersecurity protocols, system backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Configure and maintain integrations between inventory, order processing, and accounting systems to streamline operations.
Support AV and lighting control systems (e.g., DMX, Colorlight, MaestroDMX) used in product testing and demonstrations.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT policies to ensure compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and connectivity issues, minimising downtime.
Document IT configurations, procedures, and upgrades to maintain operational continuity.
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology upgrades and automation.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Demonstrated experience in system administration, IT support, or network management roles.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows environments, networking protocols, and cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
Experience with ERP, CRM, or warehouse management system integrations.
Sound understanding of cybersecurity best practices and backup systems.
Familiarity with lighting and audio-visual control systems is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and support multiple departments.
