We are a dynamic Managed Services Provider (MSP) servicing small to medium businesses (20-100 users) across various industries. Our focus is on delivering Microsoft-based solutions, supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity services.

We’re growing and are seeking a System Administrator to take ownership of system administration, support Level 3 escalations, and play a key role in client onboarding. Role Summary

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and security of IT environments across multiple clients. This role blends hands-on system administration with Level 3 service desk escalations and seamless onboarding of new clients, ensuring our customers receive exceptional IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Level 3 Service Desk & Technical Escalations

Act as the senior escalation point for complex service desk issues.

Troubleshoot advanced Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and infrastructure incidents.

Mentor Level 1–2 engineers, assisting with knowledge transfer and best practices.

🔹 Server & Infrastructure Administration

Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.

Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, file shares, and permissions.

Support virtualized environments (Hyper-V) and assist with Azure migrations.

Ensure server patching, optimization, and uptime.

🔹 Client Onboarding & IT Transition

Lead technical setup and onboarding of new clients into our MSP environment.

Standardise system policies, security baselines, and automation scripts.

Configure monitoring, reporting, and RMM tools for new clients.

Work closely with sales & technical teams to ensure smooth transitions.

🔹 Remote Monitoring & Endpoint Management

Maintain and optimise NinjaOne RMM (or similar) for patching, monitoring, and alerting.

Deploy software updates and enforce endpoint security policies.

Manage Intune/Autopilot for zero-touch deployments and device compliance.

🔹 Security & Compliance

Administer Microsoft Defender and email security controls (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and incident response.

Implement Conditional Access, MFA, and other identity security measures.

🔹 Automation, Backup & Documentation

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to streamline IT processes.

Monitor and manage backups (Datto, N-Able, Cove) and test disaster recovery readiness.

Maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and IT knowledge base for internal and client use.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in an MSP environment or managing multi-tenant IT environments.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Intune.

Hands-on experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, and security best practices.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and process automation.

Familiarity with RMM tools (e.g., NinjaOne, Datto, ConnectWise).

Solid understanding of backup & disaster recovery solutions.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Desirable Certifications (not essential):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity (SC-300 / SC-200)

CompTIA Security+ or equivalent

RMM vendor certifications (NinjaOne, Datto, etc.)
