WHS Assistant - Pine Lodge

This position is suited to a junior WHS Advisor with a minimum of 1 year' experience.

• 3 month contract
• BESS project
• Monday - Friday 10 hour days with some Saturday work
• Must be local to Pine Lodge Victoria to drive in and out. NO accommodation for this position
• Paying up to $55 per hour

About the Role
The WHS Assistant will support the WHS Advisor to ensure corporate and legislative OH&S compliance and corporate quality standards as well as working with site teams and contractors to ensure standards are met. The role will be on site Monday - Friday.

Duties

• Provision of input into lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Providing environmental, safety, and occupational health support, assistance, and guidance to the Service Teams on a daily basis, and the wider business as required.
• Implementing the requirements of the Service Site EHS plan and company procedures at the site level.
• Monitoring compliance with company procedures and key performance indicators through inspections, audits, and reviews.
• Preparation of EHS reporting to ensure internal and external compliance for service sites on performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting the company with monitoring and reporting on adherence to the company and Customer quality requirements for Service sites

To be successful you MUST have;

• Cer IV WHS or equivalent Level Qualification
• Solid site-based HSE experience
• Solid knowledge of QHSE processes and relevant Australian safety legislation
• Demonstrated experience and commitment to working in compliance with OH&S Legislation
• A current unrestricted Australian Driver’s License with the ability to travel to site as required
