We are currently looking to add to our experienced and friendly team with positions available for an experienced and qualified TIG Welder based in our state-of-the-art facility in Parkinson (no requirement to travel to sites).

The position is available immediately for the right applicants. Excellent pay rate - negotiated dependent upon experience!

Based in Parkinson Queensland, and operating out of the largest of its kind, state of the art custom built warehouse, for over 30 years F & M Fabricators have worked hard to become the leading manufacturer of specialised roofing accessories in the country.

About the role:

Welding of mainly rainwater production parts using TIG

Stainless steel and sheet metal welding

Operation of machinery and equipment

Following work health and safety policies and procedures at all times

Quality assurance of finished parts, dimensions and tolerances.

Day shift hours: 7.00am - 3.30pm (M-Th) & Friday 7.00am - 1.00pm.

Who we are looking for:

Trade qualified or experienced fabricating welder

Experience in the manufacturing environment is beneficial

Ability to work to deadlines and available for overtime when required.

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Have a strong understanding of adherence to WH&S requirements.

Ability to work cohesively as a team with excellent communication skills

Willingness to learn

Honest, reliable and punctual
