Join our Oncology team at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service, where we're looking for a part-time Registered Nurse to support our oncology patients. The Position: Ongoing, Part-Time, 64.0 hours per fortnight.

In this role you will deliver holistic high standard care in the management of cancer and medical treatments, ensuring a safe, non-threatening environment for staff, patients and their support person/family. Oncology experience is preferred, however if you have limited experience in this area but have excellent assessment skills & acute experience, our experienced team will support you to increase your knowledge in this field.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years recent acute nursing experience
• Well-developed critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Commitment to meeting the special needs of those undertaking cancer & medical infusion treatments
• Cannulation and CVAD competencies desirable but mandatory to develop and maintain
• Demonstrated self-directed learning in cancer care an advantage
