Our client is a reputable contractor involved in industrial maintenance and shutdown projects across South Australia. They are currently seeking experienced Bricklayers for an upcoming shutdown at the Port Pirie Smelter.

About the Role
This role will involve shutdown work at the Port Pirie Smelter for approximately 4 weeks. Candidates must be physically fit, safety-focused, and ready to commence once medical and police clearances are completed.

What You Will Be Doing

Performing bricklaying and refractory work within an industrial shutdown environment

Working in a high-temperature, safety-critical site environment

Adhering to site safety procedures and company policies

Completing all work to a high standard within project timeframes

Skills/Qualifications

Trade-qualified Bricklayer

Pre-employment medical – required

National Police Check – required

Previous experience in shutdown or smelter environments – highly regarded

Strong understanding of workplace safety practices

What You Will Need

Ability to pass site medical and police clearance

Flexibility to work long shifts and potential weekends during shutdown

Own PPE and reliable transport to site
