About you
As the OT Cyber Security Advisor, you will:
- Lead Governance & Compliance: Define and manage cyber security governance procedures, ensuring alignment with the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF), the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act, and SA Power Networks’ policies.
- Embed Security Practices: Work closely with OT teams as a trusted advisor, providing expertise to enhance security practices and align with organisational goals.
- Respond & Improve: Support incident response processes, drive continuous improvement, and identify opportunities for modernisation in operational security.
- Design & Risk Management: Conduct security assessments, embed secure-by-design principles, and oversee risk management processes for OT environments.
- Monitor & Mitigate Threats: Collaborate with cyber security operations to detect, respond to, and mitigate threats in real time, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate & Influence: Build strong relationships across teams, contribute to leadership reports, and shape the future of OT security at SA Power Networks.
We’re seeking a proactive and experienced professional who:
- Has a strong understanding of OT systems, ICS environments, and cybersecurity principles.
- Is well-versed in Australian cybersecurity regulations, including AESCSF and the SOCI Act.
- Thrives in collaborative environments, working effectively with engineering, IT, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates expertise in incident response, risk management, and secure-by-design principles.
- Is passionate about driving innovation and continuous improvement in operational security.
