Psychologist | Reflective, Faith-Informed Practice Focused on Clinical Excellence
Location: Beautiful 1912 heritage building – Ringwood, VIC
Are you an experienced clinician who still believes therapy should make a meaningful difference — and want to work in a setting that supports depth, reflection, and sustainable growth?
At Solid Rock Psychology, we bring together the art and science of therapy.
Our outcome data tells a powerful story: across more than 550 clients, our therapists achieve an average Effect Size of 1.07 — well above the national benchmark of 0.63 (CORE-10, Novopsych).
This demonstrates that clients typically experience substantial, measurable improvement, supported by deliberate practice, supervision, and a reflective, collegial culture.
About Us
We’re a therapy-focused practice, not a referral mill.
From our stately 1912 heritage building with ornate ceilings and peaceful surroundings, our team works with thoughtful adults and families — many of whom are neurodiverse or seeking therapy that honours their Christian faith or personal values.
We also partner with several universities as a training site for the next generation of psychologists. You’ll find a culture that values both heart and rigour — a place to continue refining your craft while contributing to something bigger.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
• Sustainable caseload (max 5 clients per day) for quality work and balance
• Full administrative support and efficient systems so you can focus on therapy
• Individual and group supervision, deliberate practice, and reflective skill development
• A strong clinical governance framework for best practice and risk management
• Generous professional development budget, and wellbeing leave entitlements
• Opportunities to contribute to supervision, training, and resource development
• A beautiful heritage workplace that inspires calm and connection
About the Role
You’ll provide therapy for adults and/or young people seeking support for challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship or personality difficulties, burnout, and neurodiversity-related stress.
This is an employed position (3–5 days per week) within a collegial, reflective team that values excellence and wellbeing in equal measure.
About You
You’re a psychologist who:
• Values culturally sensitive practice that respects each client’s worldview
• Enjoys working with thoughtful professionals, and / or young people
• Is reflective, grounded, and committed to continued growth
• Wants to be part of a team that values connection, curiosity, and shared purpose
