About the role

At DC Earthworx Pty Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Truck and Dog/HC Truck Driver to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD on a casual basis. This means you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction operations by safely and efficiently transporting materials to and from job sites. Full time hours starting casual with the possibility of fulltime after probation.

What you'll be doing

Cart material to and from site with the occasional day in the float when necessary

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies to ensure the safe delivery of goods

Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation related to your driving activities

Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required

Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the construction site operations

What we're looking for

Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Minimum 1-2 years' experience operating Truck and Dog/B Double trucks in a construction or heavy haulage environment

Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures

Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safe driving practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Truck and dog trailer experience preferred, with B-double experience also valued
