Retail Assistant – Casual (Flexible Hours)

Are you a confident, quick learner who thrives in a busy retail environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our friendly team in our modern and vibrant store.

Our store is a much-loved local destination, offering a wide range of giftware, books, party supplies, stationery, greeting cards, and packaging—plus, we're a Licensed Lottery outlet. We're proud to have an amazing customer base who enjoy friendly service and a great shopping experience.

About the Role:
As a Retail Assistant, you'll be an important part of our team, helping to ensure our customers have a positive and enjoyable experience every time they visit. Your day will be varied—serving customers, operating the register (including Lotto terminal), restocking shelves, maintaining displays, and keeping the store looking its best.

We're looking for someone who:

Is confident, friendly, and approachable with great customer service skills.

Is a quick learner who can adapt to a busy and diverse retail environment.

Has previous retail experience (preferred but not essential).

Is comfortable using point-of-sale systems and can quickly learn to use the Lotto terminal.

Has experience with cash handling and basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately

Enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in their work.

Has flexibility to work casual hours, including weekends when needed.

Has the right to work in Australia
