About the role

Due to continued expansion Space Cooling PTY LTD are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance, repair, and installation services for a wide range of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including chillers, cold rooms, freezers, split system package systems, DX plant, and Chillers.

Perform routine maintenance checks and servicing on refrigeration and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

Install new refrigeration and air conditioning systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards

Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used

Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning, such as a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Minimum 3 years of practical experience as a Refrigeration Technician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex refrigeration systems

Extensive knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC principles, as well as relevant industry regulations and standards

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively

A valid driver's license

A valid restricted Electrical license

A valid ARCTIC license
