Part time Estimator / Sales Admin Role
SWS Signage is one of the Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney's premier signage companies. Having been in business for over 40 years, we are a dynamic company with a diverse product range and blue-chip customer base providing varied signage solutions throughout NSW.
Due to our continued growth there is an opportunity for a part time Estimator / Sales Admin person to join our team.
About the Role:
The role will include analysing construction documents, measurement, generating proposals and pricing of variations. There is also the opportunity to incorporate an element of project management into the role.
Primary responsibilities include:
Responding to contract tenders, predominantly to building companies
Preparing draft proposals from same
Generating & reviewing production estimates
Pricing & executing contract variations
Liaising with customers, including other estimators, contract administrators & project managers
Sourcing alternate signage solutions to customer requirements where appropriate
Completing job details via our on-line project management program to provide a production summary of the job
Managing the admin side of each job including timelines, progress updates, install dates etc.
A good understanding of the BCA and Australian Standards (can be learnt on the job)
Maintaining an existing database of tenders and proposals supplied together with key dates
Ideally, the Successful Candidate will have:
Strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic and initiative to meet deadlines
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Experience in a related field which demonstrates a similar skillset
Solid computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
May be currently studying Building, Construction, Quantity Surveying degree or similar
Would suit a person looking to return to the workforce in a part time capacity
Ability to read and interpret building plans
Positive and proactive person who can contribute to the Company/Office culture
