Overview
We have a great opportunity for a reliable and dedicated Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our friendly Community and Allied Health team in Wallaroo.
The Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist (OT) is a member of a community-based, multi-disciplinary specialist Rehabilitation team, providing services across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Working in partnership with local team members and metropolitan-based Rehabilitation Specialists, the Rehabilitation OT will contribute to the planning, development and implementation of Rehabilitation services in Wallaroo. Services will focus on improving health outcomes, functional capacity and quality of life, in accordance with the State-wide Rehabilitation Service Plans.
The Occupational Therapist works under reduced clinical direction and may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants and students. As a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, the Occupational Therapist utilises a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment / therapy and evaluation approaches.

The largest health service for this region is based in Wallaroo, with outreach provided to the Copper coast and Southern Yorke Peninsula including Moonta, Kadina, Maitland, Point Pearce, Minlaton and Yorketown (max 1.5hr drive from Wallaroo).
