About the Role
Morale Care is expanding across Western Sydney, and we’re seeking experienced, reliable, and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team.
You’ll be supporting participants across Supported Independent Living (SIL), Independent Living Options (ILO), and Community Access programs in the following key areas:
👉 St Marys, Emerton, Campbelltown, Springwood and Wentworthville.
This role suits Support Workers who are confident in manual handling, personal care, mealtime management (including puree diets), and supporting clients with behaviours of concern.
Availability for sleepovers and flexibility to work a range of day, afternoon, and evening shifts within a 24/7 rotating roster is required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support tailored to participant goals and individual care plans
Deliver manual handling, personal care, and mealtime management (including puree diets)
Implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and apply restrictive practices safely when required
Support participants in daily living tasks, emotional regulation, and community participation
Maintain accurate shift documentation and incident reports
Work collaboratively with the team to uphold quality, safety, and dignity in all supports
Essential Criteria
Minimum 12 months experience in mental health or disability support
Experience or willingness to learn manual handling and meal plan management (puree)
Proven ability to follow positive behaviour support plans
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Current NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check, and Driver’s Licence
