If you’re currently a HR truck driver and interested in a career in the waste industry, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a stable and reputable employer of choice in the Ipswich region.

This position involves a mix of driving, manual handling, and warehouse support duties working a 4 day roster (6:00am to 3:30pm).

Key tasks include:

Collecting and delivering wheelie bins to residential properties

Using hand and basic power tools to repair or replace bin lids

Managing stock and assisting with stock movement in the warehouse

To be considered, you will need to demonstrate:

Current HR class licence with clean driving record

Current Forklift Licence

Proven commitment to safe operation of vehicles, training and a mentor program is provided

Comprehensive knowledge of the Ipswich area.

Two references from previous supervisors.

If successful, you will be required to pass a medical assessment and receive immunisations against Hepatitis A and B and Q Fever before performing any work within the role.

Good casual hourly rate (starting on $42.73/hour), ideally seeking availability to commence asap. Multiple roles for a modern fleet of well maintained trucks.

These roles will begin as casual labour hire, with opportunities to apply for full-time positions in the future.
