HR Truck Driver

What You’ll Do:

Drive our Heavy Rigid truck on a short-haul run from Bowen to Mackay, stopping in Cannonvale and conducting multi-drops along the way.

Perform pre-start vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working order.

Manage and secure freight using appropriate load restraint techniques.

Complete all necessary paperwork and logs, including run sheets and delivery dockets.

Communicate effectively with the operations team, dispatchers, and customers.

Adhere to all road transport laws, regulations, and company safety policies.

Assist with the loading and unloading of goods as required.

Skills & Experience

A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.

A clean and current driving record.

Proven experience as an HR truck driver, preferably with multi-drop deliveries and or local metropolitan routes.

Knowledge of local and regional road networks.

Good time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.

A strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High Risk Work licence (Forklift Truck) desirable but not required

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile phones and other applications to finalise deliveries and optimise delivery routes
