Your Role as Driver Trainer
As the Team Support Officer - Fleet for Community Transport Service (CTS), your role is pivotal in ensuring that community members have access to safe and reliable transportation services. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operations of the team.
You’ll enable community members to travel safely with greater independence by:
Perform administrative duties to support the transport and volunteer driver team. This includes general admin tasks, preparing reports, managing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.
Respond to enquiries from community members, volunteers, and staff in a timely and professional manner as the first point of contact.
Assist with office and operational tasks, including data entry, filing, photocopying, and maintaining driver and vehicle documentation.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transport and fleet administration tasks run smoothly and efficiently.
Monitor and maintain office supplies, stationery and equipment, and coordinate repair and maintenance requests are required.
Enter and maintain data in relevant systems and databases, ensuring data inputted is accurate and free of errors.
Support the Manager with other duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in an administration role, preferably supporting transport, fleet, or volunteer programs, and/or an appropriate qualification in Business or Administration.
Knowledge of administrative and record-keeping best practices, including maintaining accurate documentation.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with community members, volunteers, and staff.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!
Experience working in an administration setting within a not-for-profit organisation.
Essential Requirements
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
