About the opportunity

The Werribee Mercy Hospital Emergency Department is a mixed ED that serves the growing community of Werribee and its surrounds.
Seeing 60,000 to 70,000 patients a year with 20% paediatric patients.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team prior to us opening the brand new, multi-million dollar Emergency Department in 2026 and be a
part of the journey.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
  
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
  
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) as a medical practitioner
  
• Fellowship of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine or equivalent
  
• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
