About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic wait person and barista to join our friendly team at Jackman and McRoss Bakery in Battery Point, Tasmania. This part-time role is the perfect opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and serve our loyal customers delicious food and beverages.

What you'll be doing

Providing excellent customer service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere

Preparing and serving coffee, tea and other hot and cold drinks

Taking food and drink orders and processing payments efficiently

Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-stocked service area

Assisting with general kitchen duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a wait person or barista in a cafe or restaurant environment

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner

Excellent coffee making skills and knowledge of coffee equipment

Ability to work well in a team and under pressure during peak periods

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
