Southern Foodservice – Glenorchy, TAS

Southern Foodservice is a proudly Tasmanian-owned food distribution business supplying quality products to restaurants, cafés, and caterers across the state.

We’re looking for a Warehouse Person / Driver to join our small, close-knit team in Glenorchy. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, starting at 5am each day.

About the role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in all parts of the warehouse and delivery process. You’ll work alongside a small team who value reliability, teamwork, and good communication. You won’t be just a number — you’ll play a key part in keeping things running smoothly.

Your day will include:

Helping dispatch and coordinate morning delivery runs

Receiving and checking incoming stock

Picking and preparing orders for the next day

Operating forklifts and trucks as required

Making local deliveries when needed

Providing friendly, professional service to our customers

What we’re looking for

Forklift licence (LF) – required

Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence – required

Previous warehouse or delivery experience is highly regarded

Great customer service and communication skills

A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety

Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
