Who You Are:
You bring a deep understanding of energy markets, particularly the National Electricity Markets and how networks, regulation, and investment frameworks interact. You know the risks and opportunities of a fast-moving energy transition, and can turn complex issues into clear, actionable policy. Ideally, you’ve worked with or around market bodies and know how to lead teams that get things done.
Key Duties:
Lead development of strategic policy on electricity network planning and regulation.
Oversee a small team to design and deliver policy reform proposals.
Navigate network regulatory challenges and propose innovative policy responses.
Engage closely with market bodies, state governments, and industry stakeholders.
Prepare high-quality written advice for executive, ministerial and intergovernmental decision-making.
