Assistant Venue Manager
Full-Time. Local Burleigh, Burleigh Heads
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 Depending on experience
We're looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to join our leadership team and help deliver outstanding guest experiences while supporting smooth day-to-day operations. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is ready to grow their career in venue management.

What you'll be doing
Customer Service – Lead by example on the floor, set service benchmarks, and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
Labour Management – Support rostering and shift management to balance service standards with labour efficiency.
Training & Development – Recruit, onboard, and coach team members, building skills and confidence across the venue.
Ordering - assisting with ordering and general up keep of the venue.
Events and marketing - working alongside VM, Functions Coordinator and marketing team to plan and execute events as well as engaging with the local community. bring your own ideas to life !
What we're looking for
Previous management experience in hospitality.
Minimum 1-2 years of management experience in hospitality required.
Strong service focus with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive leader who takes ownership and drives consistency.
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required at commencement.
