About the business and the role

Established family medical practice with 9 Doctors, podiatry , audiology and onsite pathology collection centre. Fully computerised using Best Practice Software. We are looking for a Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly team of Health Care Professionals. This role will suit someone with previous experience in a General Practice or willing to learn how to do chronic disease care planning and health assessments. Ideally someone with initiative as you really are your own boss in this position.

Job tasks and responsibilities

*ECG's - trianing provided on our brand new ECG machine

*Wound Care

*Immunisations

*Assisting Doctors with minor procedures such as removal of skin lesionS,implanon.

*Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management Plans - training provided if needed

*Cold Chain Management

*Excellent rapport building skills with patients

*Good computer skills and experience with Best Practice or willing to be trained in Best Practice

*Stock control of medical consumables

*Triage Phone Calls

*Assisting with recalls

*Front Desk Bookings & General Duties to assist the whole clinic team in urgent situations, training provided.

Other Important Requirements Are

*Strong communication skills, written and verbal

*AHPRA registration

*The ability to work unsupervised

*Ability to multi-task with good time management skills

*Computer literate

*Excellent telephone manner

*Flexible availability to work casual shifts Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm ? shifts to be organised to suit both you the Nurse and the Clinic

*Willing to have additional training as required.
