About the role

Tumbarumba Bakery is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team. As a full-time Baker, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality baked goods, including breads, pastries, and other speciality items. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and dedicated team, contributing to the success of our well-established local bakery.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and customer specifications

Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked products

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards

Assist with the daily operations of the bakery, including stock management and equipment maintenance

Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and new product development

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in baking or a related culinary field, or proven experience as a Baker

knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and food safety regulations

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet production targets

Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required

A passion for producing high-quality baked goods and a commitment to excellent customer service
