Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections on machined parts using advanced metrology tools

• Verify part compliance against drawings, models, and specifications

• Upload inspection results and traceability data into ProShop ERP

• Interpret engineering drawings and tolerances with precision

• Collaborate with machinists and production teams to resolve quality issues

• Uphold ISO 9001 quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement

Hold subcontractors accountable for their workmanship.

Equipment You'll Use

• Wenzel LH87 CMM with Renishaw PH10 head

• Minimum 6-12 months experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is required

• Vici Vision PRIMA 614 shaft scanner

• Taylor Hobson Profilometer

• TESA Height Gauge, Bowers Holematics, Micrometers, Slip Gauges, and other precision instruments

• Demonstrated experience with precision measurement instruments is essential

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a CNC or precision machining environment

• Minimum 1-2 years total quality inspection experience is required

• Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical inspection methods

• Familiarity with ERP systems (ProShop experience a plus)

• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems is preferred

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Australian citizenship is required for this position

Training available, but a good technical baseline is required.
