Which is a Qualified VET Trainer in Building & Construction to join our respected team at TME — a nationally recognised RTO with more than 30 years of service to Australia’s trades.

Whether your classroom is online, onsite, or somewhere in between, you’ll be helping the next generation of builders turn their potential into solid foundations.

What you’ll do:

Deliver engaging, compliant training for the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (and related qualifications).

Inspire learners to think like builders — not just pass assessments.

Bring your trade experience to life through real-world stories, site examples, and mentoring.

Deliver classes one evening per week (4–5 hours, typically 5–9 pm).

Support learners through practical guidance, marking, and structured feedback.

What we’re looking for:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Certificate IV in Building and Construction

Diploma of Building and Construction

Probably a trade qualification (e.g. Carpentry or related field)

Confidence delivering online (virtual) or face-to-face classes

Ability to effectively support NESB (non-English-speaking background) learners – we have a large Mandarin background cohort, so even though all training and assessment is in English, fluency in Mandarin would be an asset to help them grasp the intricacies

We’re Melbourne-based — but we’re open to remote legends from Sydney or anywhere else in Australia who can bring their expertise to our virtual classroom.
