Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and provide compassionate, person-centred care in line with individual care plans

Key Responsibilities:

Travel between client's homes

Supporting clients with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and household chores

Providing social support and transportation services as required

Providing personal care, including showering, grooming, and mobility assistance

Ensure that client’s rights, cultural, spiritual and other individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily living

Work within a multidisciplinary team, provide effective support to clients, recognise changes in clients’ conditions and escalate observations and concerns in accordance with Auspirecare processes

Promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friends

Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise

Must have your own car (registered in your own name), valid insurance and a current Victorian driver's license

This is the place for you if you have:

Qualifications: Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or equivalent. Paid placements are also accepted.

First Aid & CPR: Current certifications or willingness to obtain.

Driver’s License: A valid Victorian license and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

Police Check: Needs to be at least 90 days old.

Commitment to Person-Centred Care: Strong understanding of community care and a dedication to delivering high standards for clients and families.

Team Player: Thrives in a collaborative team environment while valuing one-on-one client connections.

Experience in a home care setting or providing domestics support is desirable

Understanding of client directed care
