Lead a testing team across a challenging Integration program of work

Set up and manage testing and testing governance

Hybrid location with 2 days in the office based in the Melbourne CBD

Due to a large program of work we are looking for a Technology Test Manager to join this outstanding testing practice on an initial 12 month contract opportunity.

The role requires a delivery focussed Test Manager with a strong understanding of (and passion for) testing. Your role will be to support and manage an existing group of testing professionals on inflight projects as well as working on the strategic integration of a complex program of work.

You will be someone who takes pride in delivering high quality testing solutions and will enjoy working in fast paced environments on critical systems.

To be successful in the role you will ideally possess :

Key skills :

Resource management of Test Leads & Analysts across a diverse portfolio of projects

Work with Project Managers to plan test work and allocate testing resources in priority order

Oversee test strategies and planning

Actively seeking improve opportunities – ways to optimise the current workflow for system integration testing.

Scope of testing work – integration and regression testing of IT systems and applications. Large legacy component, integration with SaaS.

Internal and external parties providing systems and applications.

Develop and prepare test strategies for larger programs of work.

Must haves :

Testing leadership, strong integration and End-to-End testing focus, attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.

Ability to build and develop a testing strategy

Strong defect management skills

The ability to conduct governance and manage stage gates with vendors.

Experience forming an execution plan and approach, driving the timelines and resourcing engagement with multiple teams.
