This is a Permanent Part Time appointment for up to 68.4 hours per fortnight (0.9 FTE). Fixed Term Part Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency may also be considered.

Please note this position is a day duties position, Monday to Friday. Free parking is available, and flexibility will be provided in relation to workdays and hours.

What does an IPC Clinical Nurse Specialist do?

The successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation of the Mental Health Service and Dental Health Service (MHSDHS) Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) programs and ongoing review and development of relevant policies. This position also provides a high level clinical advisory service regarding IPC matters within the Services.

Eligibility to Apply

Additional Information

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
