About the role

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef and Casual Chefs to join our vibrant team at Sobe cafe' in Sandringham, NSW. As a key part of our culinary crew, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to work flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Head Chef in leading and mentoring the kitchen team

Prepare, cook and present a diverse range of high-quality dishes

Ensure the efficient and smooth running of the kitchen

Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene

Contribute to the development of new and innovative menu items

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a busy hospitality environment

Formal culinary training or qualification

Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of various food preparation techniques

Excellent time management, multitasking and problem-solving abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality

Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work well under pressure

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
