McArthur is partnering with leading providers to find an outstanding Occupational Therapist to join their team permanently.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will work closely with Team Leaders, Physiotherapists, and care staff to deliver person-centred, goal-directed care plans for clients referred through the My Aged Care program.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting home-based clinical assessments to evaluate clients' needs and functional abilities.
Attending a community centre where you will work with and supervise allied health staff.
Developing and reviewing care plans that focus on reablement and enhancing clients' independence.
Collaborating with clients and their families to set achievable goals and ensure their needs are met.
Providing assessments for home modifications and assistive equipment to improve clients' quality of life.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with organisational standards.
What You'll Bring
To thrive in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, or an equivalent qualification.
Registration with AHPRA.
Experience working with older adults, including those from diverse backgrounds and those living with dementia.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage clients holistically.
Excellent organisational skills to manage your own caseload effectively.
Availability for full days of work (Monday to Friday).
An understanding of STRC, Post-Acute Care, and Transitional Care.
Knowledge of CHSP and NDIS funding and referral processes.
