Ode to Sirens is a vibrant bar and restaurant in the heart of Fremantle's historic west end. We're known for playful cocktails, delicious Greek share plates and a relaxed yet lively atmosphere. We also host an array of functions and events in our Corner Room, whether it be a birthday, a wedding or a local band performing live.

About the Role

We’re looking for a switched-on Manager/Event Coordinator to join our team. This is a dynamic role that blends event planning with on-the-ground leadership. You’ll be the person who brings our events to life and keeps service running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative and passionate about Fremantle's live music scene.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating and delivering in-house events, functions & private bookings.

Managing guest enquiries, run sheets, floor plans, and internal communications.

Engaging with the local community arts scene and helping to facilitate one off events.

Managing social media output.

Ensuring all guest correspondence are dealt with promptly and correctly.

Acting as Duty Manager during service — leading the FOH team and overseeing bar/floor operations.

Creating great guest experiences and supporting a positive team culture.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality and events.

RSA & Approved Manager’s Card (or willing to obtain)

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Great communication and people management skills.

A passion for music, performance and the arts.

A love of hospitality and creating a vibrant atmosphere
