Role Title: Head of IT Platform Engineering

Opportunity: Permanent Career Opportunity

Location + WFH Flexibility: Sydney CBD - Hybrid Working

Salary: $250,000 + super + 20% performance bonus

Client Industry: Healthcare / Medical Imaging

Role Details:

• Lead the strategy, design, and operations of core infrastructure services, spanning cloud, on-prem, network, and end-user technologies
• Drive transformation, resilience, automation, and innovation across a complex, purpose-driven environment
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, reporting directly to the CIO
• Oversee platform operations across data centres, cloud, and clinic environments

Required Skills and Experiences:

• 10+ years' experience in enterprise infrastructure leadership roles
• Proven success in hybrid cloud, network, and platform transformation programs
• Strong knowledge of VMWare, AWS, and modern enterprise platforms
• Experience in highly available or regulated environments (healthcare experience advantageous)
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills
• Financial acumen to manage large budgets and vendor contracts
