We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Head Chef to lead our team at 'b a y' by Abundance, located in the beautiful Bellerive, TAS 7018. As the Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in leading our kitchen team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Bay is a natural extension of the well known institution "abundance" that has operated in Bellerive for 11 years.

In this full-time role will require an immediate start, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control. You will work closely with the management team to develop new dishes and ensure that all food served meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a creative flair in the kitchen. You should have previous experience working as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in a busy kitchen environment. Strong leadership skills are a must, as you will be responsible for managing and motivating a small team of kitchen staff.

Key requirements for this role include:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and ordered open style kitchen
- Creative approach to menu development with a focus on taste, presentation and seasonality
