Lead meaningful health research improving outcomes for families and children undergoing cardiac surgery. Collaborate with experts from JCU, Townsville University Hospital, HeartKids, and ANZCORS in this exciting PULSE Project role.
You’ll lead and deliver research activities, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and co-design workshops with parents and health professionals. Working closely with a supportive research team, you’ll coordinate data collection, contribute to analysis, and translate findings into practical, family-centred improvements in care.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with parents, clinicians, and partner organisations.
Conduct and analyse qualitative and quantitative data.
Facilitate inclusive co-design workshops.
Prepare clear and engaging reports and summaries.
Ensure ethical compliance and sound data management.
About You:
Degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
Skilled in mixed-methods research and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
