Early Childhood Teacher / Kindy Room Leader

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has completed their Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent) and is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

Our Landsdale centre is a vibrant and welcoming space with six beautifully designed rooms and capacity for 129 children. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the Early Years Learning Framework, our centre blends natural environments with modern learning spaces to inspire curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

About the Role

You will be based in our Kindy Room, working full-time to lead and manage the educational program and team for children aged 3–5. This is a highly rewarding position for someone who thrives on leading a team, building strong relationships, and designing engaging, meaningful learning programs.

You will play a key role in:

• Curriculum Design & Programming: Leading the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF, embedding child-led and project-based learning.
• Educational Activities: Creating and overseeing experiences that foster creativity, problem-solving, and a love of learning.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Guiding, mentoring, and inspiring a team of educators to uphold high standards of care, documentation, and professional practice.
• Child Safety & Wellbeing: Ensuring every child feels safe, respected, and encouraged to explore their potential within a nurturing learning environment.
• Family Partnerships: Building open, respectful relationships with families and fostering strong partnerships to support each child’s learning and development.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: Completed Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching or equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience in early childhood settings and/or team leadership is highly desirable.
• Values-Driven: Passionate about collaboration, innovation, and fostering a positive, supportive team culture.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to lead and build meaningful connections with children, families, and colleagues.
• Working Rights: Full Australian working rights and current relevant clearances (WWCC, National Police Clearance, and Child Protection training).
