The Whiz Kidz group are family owned and operated childcare centres across NSW and VIC. Our owners are two sisters, both with young children, who have a passion for quality childcare and early education. Having sent all their young children to childcare, we understand what it means to be able to send your child to a centre each morning and walk away with the peace of mind that each child is being cared for in a loving and nurturing environment. About the position and what you would be involved in:

Our Pendle Hill service is licensed for up 100 children per day, and our Northmead service is licenced for up to 51 children, between 6 weeks and 6 years old. The service features large spacious rooms with lots of natural light, state of the art modern facilities and excellent resources.

We are looking for Educators who have genuine love and passion for children. Ones who are still willing to learn and develop with us. Who have a fun and bubbly personality, a willingness to learn and who is a great team player, because we love what we do, and are proud of the culture we have built. Educators who have:

📚 An understanding that young children develop at their own pace and have diverse needs, requiring patience and a compassionate approach.

📚The ability to communicate effectively with children at their level, as well as with parents and colleagues. While maintaining records and documents related to children’s attendance, behaviour, and developmental milestones.

📚The ability to use innovative and flexible approaches to teaching that keep children engaged and cater to their different learning styles. while assisting and supporting children in their learning and daily routines.

📚The ability to foster a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and safe to explore and express themselves. While providing spontaneous and planned age appropriate activities.

📚The ability to develop a strong bond with families and with other Educators. You will be able to think on your feet, help out with any task and be an all round team player.

These positions are fulltime working Monday to Friday 38 hours/week., OR on a casual, on call basis. Our services operate Monday to Friday 7am-6pm your flexible availability within those hours will be highly desired.

Successful applicants must:

Hold an ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or be actively studying towards one.

Hold a current First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate, and Working with Children's Check.

Have a strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Be approachable and well respected

A solid understanding of early childhood development standards to support physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
